CASE STUDY - EDGEWATER RESORT

Trish has been providing marketing services to Edgewater Resort, in Lake Wanaka, since May 2003.  As an independent property the Resort is reliant on instigating its own sales and marketing efforts.

General Manager, Leigh Stock and Trish work closely to ensure all aspects of sales and marketing for the Resort are managed efficiently.  As an on-site manager, Leigh oversees all hotel operations and also reservations, daily arrivals, famils and local marketing.  Based remotely, Trish concentrates on international inbound sales, web site development and marketing, and works closely with Leigh on all advertising placements.

According to Leigh, "Trish and I discuss marketing directions and issues almost every day, sometimes several times each day!   Trish has a particular insight into wider industry trends and sources opportunities for the Resort.  She and I have undertaken a range of international sales visits on behalf of the Resort.  More recently Trish has shown an aptitude for developing our web site, keeping it current and enhancing its optimisation". 

Trish also provides general communications and PR services to the Resort and wrote the Resort's 2005 entry into the New Zealand Tourism Awards.
